Rebecca is an empathetic and dedicated counseling trainee currently completing her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Avila University. She is on the path toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is deeply committed to supporting individuals as they navigate healing, growth, and self-discovery.
Rebecca’s professional journey began in education, where she taught high school English and later 4th grade. During her time in the classroom, she discovered that her greatest passion lay in supporting students beyond academics. Her teaching philosophy continues to guide her therapeutic work today. Rebecca believes in empowering individuals to find their inner voice, develop self-awareness, and build a personal “toolbox” of coping strategies to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence.

Rebecca emphasizes living in the present moment while interconnecting the mind, body, and spirit to help guide one to their best version of themself. Her primary focus is on trauma-informed care, and she integrates evidence-based and body-centered modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to support healing at a deep and long-lasting level.
